Whilst the two manage to get treatment at the local hospital and unbeknownst at the time, Ty had developed a blood clot from the gunshot wound that would slowly begin to move around his body’s circulatory system. Hopefully it'll keep the show going because I love this show and can't wait to see where the journey takes us.Unfortunately, someone else was also watching the wolf and seeing it head towards the two ranchers, missed their warning shot, and accidentally hit Amy in the shoulder and Ty in the side. ![]() Either way it shall be interesting to see where things go from this point forward. We don't know everything that went on behind the scenes. Especially after all the wild stuff in the last year. No show is perfect and for all we know with Graham leaving they may have had a small filming window and did what they could. This show could go on for a long time depending on how they choose to move forward with each character's stories. There's so much they could do from this point forward. With him being absent so much, did it hold the show back a bit with working around all that? Yes, but now there's no more working around someone's schedule and no holding back on any potential storylines. The show doesn't need to end because Ty's character is no longer on the show. Honestly as heartbreaking as it is for Ty to have died. ![]() I would of much rather have one or two seasons less but a happy ending even if they did like a 2-hour movie to tie up any loose ends instead of more seasons and like mentioned above a spin-off were Ty absence could of much easier be explained. His death is kinda careless he just falls to the ground and dies we don’t even get a final goodbye between Ty and Amy I think fans atleast deserved that ,that really annoyed me. Yep i agree i think ending the show on Season 13 would of been a better call.I fully respect Graham decision to leave but something that bugs me is that in his interview he says he was thinking about leaving the show for a few years so obviously the show-runners knew it will eventually happen so either leave it with a happy ending or atleast have a better death.I would of much rather have him fall ill over time and atleast have his goodbye with everyone before he passes i think fans also would of been more prepared for that and therefore more understanding. I also think this is the worst time to kill him off with so much people already experiencing grief from the pandemic.I wonder if thats why it was supposed to air in Winter 2021 hopping the pandemic would of been over by then but they changed it for some reason.Anyways i hope people who stay with the show enjoy it and hope it has more season but personally the perfect finale for me was Season 13□ I think it will be interesting to see if Heartland continues for much longer cause the worst thing is if it is cancelled after Season 14 or 15 and Ty is killed off ,i think many will feel his death was pointless then. Here we have a character who has a huge character development, is a father and husband and we have connected with him for the past 13 years so him dying is much more devastating. ![]() ![]() Yep her mom dies but that’s necessary for the context of the story and at the same time we weren’t attached to any characters yeh sure it was sad but we only knew Amys mum for like 5 minutes so when she died it didnt affect the viewers.
